Rheinhessen is called “The land of thousand hills”. – And this is true: The picturesque landscape of one of Germany’s most important winegrowing areas is shaped by soft rolling hills. Here, winemaking has a long tradition that the young generation is eager to follow inspired by modern winemaking possibilities.

Rheinhessen is home to many grape varieties offering a wide range of different wine styles. – For wine lovers, this is paradise. Given the enormous choice of wines you shouldn’t miss this wine experience.

Today, we have 30 hectares under yield. Vineyards soils are predominantly loess-loam. These soils provide an ideal basis for our vines and grapes. Our vineyards are widespread throughout the Wonnegau, a sub region to the winegrowing area of Rheinhessen. We are proud of our single vineyard site collection which expresses true authentic terroir character. Our most valuable wines mention the name of the vineyard site on the label. Watch out for names like Bechtheimer Hasensprung, Bechtheimer Heilig-Kreuz and Gundheimer Mandelbrunnen, just to name a few.
